Travelling Show
(Senior Short Film)

This was a 2023 senior film project created during my final year at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as a part of my Bachelor of Media Arts degree program.
I directed, wrote, storyboarded, designed, animated, composited, and edited the entire film with some assistance with layout art/prop design. It was a big undertaking with a limited time frame but it is a project I am very proud to have created with the support of my teachers and the ECUAD animation faculty who I am grateful to have received feedback from during the production.

Art & Design

Rainy Village is a children’s series concept that I had developed featuring little berry creatures learning how to navigate social situations and friendships!
Inspired by many endearing series like Moomin, Care Bears, and Miffy.

OMGPop! (Outlaw Motorcycle Gang) is an adult cartoon concept I had developed about a spoiled young guy who has to move to a shady, biker gang-ridden part of town and must navigate young adulthood in his intimidating new home!
Inspired by shows/movies I love like Mission Hill, Powerpuff Girls, Kill Bill, and Scott Pilgrim.
I created lots of design notes and guides for production assistants to follow.

Moonlight: Guardian of Dreams is a short film concept I developed about a small teddy bear that defends his owner from her nightmares as she sleeps!

Vanille Créme Bunny is a Vtuber persona that I created the design for. The aesthetics of the character’s story video are intended to look similar to a Nintendo DS game circa 2006 and feature somewhat pixelated anime-esque graphics common during that timeframe.

This is a small assortment of prop and character design work that was created with a Magical Girl-theme in mind.
Style Studies/Fan Works
I enjoy doing style studies and testing my abilities to replicate brush styles, colour sensibilities, motifs, and other aspects of character and prop designs! I also have fun adapting characters into my own style or other styles as well.
Here I have a collection of these fun, skill-building projects!
